Eames Lighting
Eames Lighting was created with the intent of bringing premium authentic design directly to architects, interior designers & domestic customers.
With over 30,000 high-quality indoor & outdoor lighting, furniture and accessories, Eames Lighting required a custom-built website with an emphasis on clean and modern design. We started by developing a clean website theme that made the images of their products stand out, allowing the products to take centre stage.
Clear vision
Eames Lighting products look visually stunning. In order to display them effectively, we designed a theme that was beautifully minimal allowing the products to stand out visually. Using just subtle touches, we were able to achieve a ‘studio’ look and feel.
Web Development
A custom X-Cart installation and the development of a fresh, clean theme built from scratch.
Content Management System
Advanced custom fields allowing admin staff to create and manage product content including images, videos and text.
Elastic Search
A high-speed search engine that can intelligently index and search through tens of thousands of products.
Plugin Development
Custom product importer developed to automatically source all product data from hundreds of sources worldwide.
Clean modern design
Eames Lighting reached out to us with a goal of creating an online store dedicated to the world of lifestyle and lighting.
The website needed to be fast too, and with over 30,000 products to traverse through, we came up with the solution of deploying a cloud-based elastic-search feature. This meant that searching for products on the website is lightning fast, the result for the customer is a visually spectacular website. During this project, we developed a migration tool that handled the import of the product catalogue.
